Seriously weird post-apocalpytic dreams last night. Low-tech tribal societies, with societal pressure against technology. Then THAT old trope - a cool piece of technology roars into town ... er ... village. Thus Upheaval.
The shapeshifting Cylon lawyer at the end was an interesting plot twist.
Spawn had to go to the bank today - rolling over a CD, if he lets the bank do the 'automatic' roll over the interest on it drops to 0,02%, and for 6 months rather than 3 months. So he also hit Costco since it's close to the bank (both are in the middle of Maryland, rather than here in West By God Virginia.) Not much selection on Pork there, some frozen stuff out, no generic Pepsid. No 25 pound bags of rice - so he got a 50 pound bag. BIG ass bag. Sheesh. I didn't think to have him evaluate the toilet paper situation.
Coronavirus news is that they expect up to 3000 deaths a day from it, in the US, in June.
We've got a cold spell coming this weekend. I'll need to cover the basil that I've planted, and take in all my seedlings that I've not planted. Le Sigh. I wish my potatoes would sprout, but they are hanging back. maybe they sense the problem. Or not.
We trapped the groundhog that set up under our front step - the excavation s/he did was amazing - some of the rocks s/he moved were half her/his size! It's gone now.
Did dishes, and 5 loads of laundry. Just another day.
Frondly, Fern
