Blessings Darlings!
Wednesday is World Bee Day. And since I post this at the end of Tuesday, most of you will be reading this on Wednesday itself. I try to be bee-supportive, especially of local bees. I buy local honey. While I rent this house, so I can't replace the entire lawn with stuff that's better for the environment, I keep all the lovely flowering 'weeds' that support bees - the dandelions, the clover that I adore as well, I keep the buttercups happy, etc. Amongst the bushes we have are some hollies that become a shimmer of bees of many many different types when they bloom. And the bees LOVE LOVE LOVE blooming oregano! If my son wasn't so intimidated by them I'd keep a hive of them, but, he just is. Once he finishes college and moves on that might be an option.
Yellow jackets can just go fuck off and die, tho.
I've had a bunch of 'off' days lately, and am trying to get more done. I'm doing more 'things', but almost all will have to be repeated tomorrow. I'll again wash dishes, again cook dinner, again meditate and eat breakfast and take my medications, again blog, again do offerings. I'll work in the garden every day. I will watch part 2 of the video on making videos I saw today. I won't have to harvest the same veggies, or make kahlua or grind coffee.
For some reason, repetition at home is more wearing on me than repetition at work (at least at the last job) was.
In coronavirus news, things keep opening up, about 1000 people die a day in the US from it, and now to add insult to injury, Trump is suspending all safety regulations 'that slow business'. Which is all of them, because all safety stuff reduces ROI.
That's it for today.
Frondly, Fern
